1. 10-Finger Typing Technique
Each finger has its own position on the keyboard. Basic practice: place your fingers on the home row (ASDF JKL;) and type the letters shown on the screen.
Finger positions on the home row:
- Left hand:
- Pinky â A
- Ring finger â S
- Middle finger â D
- Index finger â F
- Thumb â Spacebar
- Right hand:
- Index finger â J
- Middle finger â K
- Ring finger â L

3. Voice Typing (Typing with Your Voice)
Today, technology is getting smarter. We can now type without using the keyboard. Instead, we can speak and the computer will automatically convert our voice into text.
This feature is called Voice Typing or Speech-to-Text. It is available in many applications such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
